Introduction to Information Security Research

Catalog description

In this course, students will be introduced to methods for conducting scientific research within information systems and security. Emphasis will be placed on research question formation, literature review, theory, hypothesis formation, data acquisition, and research methodology. Students will also be introduced to current streams of research in information systems and security. This course is intended for Ph.D. students with a research focus in information systems.
