Linear Regression

Catalog description

This course teaches regression methods to analyze the relationship between the response and a set of predictors. Topics include least squares estimation, hypothesis testing, and confidence interval estimation in regression; simple and multiple linear regression; use of dummy variables; Diagnostics; model; transformations; model selection. Statistical software is necessary to perform data analysis.
