Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to provide pre-service teacher candidates with a solid foundation for effective literacy instruction grounded in the science of reading. Candidates will gain knowledge of effective lesson planning, instruction, and assessment. Field experience (30 hours) are embedded to observe and practice reading instruction.
