Catalog description
Evolutionary psychology is an approach to investigating and understanding psychological phenomena. This approach recognizes that human genes and environments have influenced one another over thousands of generations. Recurring challenges faced by our ancestors, such as survival, reproduction, cooperation, and social competition, shaped our physical and psychological capacities. Evolutionary psychology applies evolutionary theory to study human cognition, emotion, and behavior.
