Catalog description

This course introduces the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student to the knowledge and skills required to locate and critically review evidence-based literature. The course focuses on the foundational development for reviewing and critiquing evidence and introduces the writing skills needed to disseminate and advance knowledge in clear, concise and contextual language. This course is necessary for the student to gain understanding of the formal language and tone required to be successful in scholarly writing.
