Academic Immersion

Catalog description

This course will prepare students for the role of the nurse educator in the academic and/or practice setting. A synthesis of educational theories, best practices, and teaching-learning strategies are applied during the practicum experience. Selected educational settings provide opportunities to practice the roles of the educator under the guidance of a qualified teaching mentor (120 hours).
