Advanced Clinical Practice

Catalog description

This course provides students with experiences and opportunities to integrate new knowledge into practice at the graduate level. The direct care clinical experience will prepare the graduate student for the advanced level role of the registered professional nurse. Students will focus on assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient health outcomes. This course provides students with the opportunity to develop an evidence-based practice or quality improvement project for a patient population.
