Catalog description

This course will explore the interrelatedness of assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology for the advanced level nurse. Students will build on previous assessment experience and discern the pathophysiological processes associated with illness and disease. The integration of pharmacology to treat illness and disease across the lifespan and continuum of care will also be examined. Risk aversion strategies and management of disease at the community, state, and national levels will be discussed.
