Catalog description

This course will introduce nurse leaders and aspiring nurse leaders to the role of nurses on interdisciplinary teams which focus on the health of populations. Emphasis will be placed on health outcomes, patterns of health determinants, and the methods by which health outcomes and patterns are determined and addressed. Topics will include epidemiology, ethics, genetics and genomics, social determinants of health, and disaster/pandemic preparedness.
