Advanced Nursing Concepts

Catalog description

This course will prepare students to collaborate in professional partnerships to provide care for high acuity patients across diverse healthcare systems. Emphasis is on applying advanced nursing care concepts, clinical judgement, and anticipation of outcome of care across the healthcare continuum in the development of an evidence-based foundation for professional nursing practice. Advanced concepts and their alterations will be analyzed applying the principles of person-centered care.
