Prof Nurse as Leader

Catalog description

This course focuses on the development and acquisition of leadership competencies for the professional nurse. The aims of this course include the development of the attributes and skills necessary to positively influence change to promote diversity, retention, self-awareness, and resilience. This course will provide a 45-hour clinical immersion experience for students to continue the socialization of the nurse as a health systems leader by establishing a professional identity.
