Basic Leadership

Catalog description

This course provides students with a basic knowledge of common military skills and presents the fundamental leadership concepts and doctrine of the U.S. Army. Topics include the practice of basic skills that underline effective problem solving; application of active listening and feedback skills, examination of factors that influence leader and group effectiveness and an examination of the officer experience (Spring semester only; taken in conjunction with MILS 1021).
