Introduction to Higher Math

Catalog description

Topics will include sets, functions, logic, techniques of proof, mathematical induction, the Euclidean Algorithm, modular arithmetic, and equivalence relations, and other topics chosen by the instructor. A primary objective of the course will be to teach students how to read and write a proof.
