Catalog description

Discrete Mathematics is the language of computing. This course introduces the fundamental concepts and methods of discrete mathematics for application in many fields including computer science, data science, machine learning, and software engineering. Topics include basic mathematical concepts, combinatorics and probability, graph theory, number theory and cryptography. A hands-on project solving the well-known travelling salesman problem will be introduced.
