Techniques and theory for aggregating data into visual representations to improve understanding and management decision making. Topics covered will include challenges faced by humans when facing large data sets, human limitations for aggregating large data and theories for best practices in visually representing data. Hands-on exercises will provide students opportunities for building organizational intelligence dashboards, static displays and moving renderings.
