Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an overview and introduction to the use of mixed methods research in the social and behavioral sciences. The primary purposes of the course are to 1) introduce the founding and prevailing principles and philosophies of mixed methods inquiry; 2) critique the limits and possibilities of mixed methods research; 3) help students become ‘good consumers’ of mixed methods research; 4) provide an opportunity to hone mixed methods research design skills.
