Catalog description

This course uses tools of standard microeconomic theory to analyze the law and the legal system. The economic implications of legal decisions are also considered. In particular, we will focus on the following areas of law: property, contract, tort, criminal, and antitrust. The course will build upon skills and concepts learned in ECON 6560 and lead to an advanced understanding of Economic Analysis of Law.
