Catalog description

This course introduces various aspects of computer security and cyber threats posed by the Internet miscreants. This course will give students an introduction of numerous attack vectors that are utilized by cyber criminals and possible defense mechanisms against the attacks. In particular, the course addresses topics such as intrusion detection, anomaly detection, malware analysis, malware campaigns, botnet detection, spam, and web security.
