This course provides an in-depth exploration of the theoretical foundations and practical implementations of decentralized computation systems and cryptocurrencies. Students will examine advanced blockchain architectures, consensus algorithms, smart contract platforms, and crypto-economic mechanisms. Topics include scalability solutions, cross-chain protocols, decentralized finance (DeFi), governance systems, and formal verification methods for smart contracts.
