Catalog description

This course familiarizes students with Linux operating system fundamentals, with a focus on network cybersecurity. It covers a full range of command-line and shell activities, including managing accounts, developing account security policies, setting file permissions, and managing storage. It also looks at scripting and automation, networking configuration, and a variety of security issues such as software management security policies, footprinting, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
