Catalog description

This course bridges the gap between software and hardware, focusing on the design and implementation of embedded systems and reconfigurable computing platforms. Students will learn microcontroller architecture, real-time operating systems, peripheral interfaces, and FPGA-based hardware acceleration. The course covers embedded software development, hardware/software co-design methodologies, and hardware description languages for implementing custom logic on FPGAs through laboratory exercises.
