This course introduces the principles of digital logic design with a focus on building secure and reliable computing systems. Students will learn about logic gates, combinational and sequential circuits, memory elements, and digital system architecture. Emphasis is placed on designing systems with security-aware logic, covering topics such as fault tolerance, hardware-based security, and side-channel resistance. Hands-on lab sessions using simulation tools and hardware (e.g., FPGA or logic kits)
