This course provides an introduction of Natural Language Processing and LLM, focusing on foundational concepts and practical applications. Students will learn essential techniques for processing and analyzing text data, including tokenization, text classification, and sentiment analysis. This course introduces machine learning basics applied to language, such as Naive Bayes and word embeddings, along with a high-level overview of modern approaches like transformers and pre-trained language.
