This course provides a comprehensive exploration of data security, privacy, and malware analysis, focusing on protecting personal and organizational data throughout its life cycle -- in storage, transmission, and processing. Students will study both foundational principles and advanced techniques, including differential privacy, secure multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption, malware detection and analysis, and privacy-preserving machine learning.
