Catalog description

This course provides an exploration of the theoretical foundations and practical implementations of decentralized computation systems and cryptocurrencies. Students will examine advanced blockchain architectures, consensus algorithms, smart contract platforms, and crypto-economic mechanisms. Topics include scalability solutions, cross-chain protocols, decentralized finance (DeFi), governance systems, and formal verification methods for smart contracts.
