Catalog description
This course provides a foundational introduction to the principles, methods, and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the context of computing. Students will explore the core concepts that enable machines to perform intelligent tasks, involving problem-solving, knowledge representation, statistics, linear algebra, learning, and decision-making. Emphasis is placed on the computational underpinnings of AI systems and how they are implemented using modern computing tools/frameworks.
