This course introduces foundations of hard surface modeling, with a focus on designing mechanical properties. Students will develop skills in high-precision modeling techniques, learning how to create detailed, production-ready assets. The course covers the full modeling pipeline, from concept sketching and block-outs to high-detail sculpting, retropology, UV unwrapping, and texturing. Students will study real-world mechanical structures to improve functionality and design.
