This course explores the fundamentals of concept development for time-based media, including animation, film, and interactive storytelling. Students will learn how to generate, develop, and refine original concepts through structured brainstorming, visual research, and iterative design. The curriculum emphasizes translating abstract ideas into structured visual narrative using sketches, character and object designs, storyboards, and animatics.
