Catalog description

The course will cover a variety of chemical processes in natural environments including atmosphere, water systems, and land systems. Topics covered may include stratospheric ozone, air pollutants, greenhouse gases and greenhouse effect, alternative energy technologies, water chemistry and pollution, toxic heavy metals and organic compounds, and soil chemistry.
