Catalog description

The dynamics of the environment, accenting the physical, chemical and biological properties of local ecosystems, giving special attention to integrative and homeostatic processes, energy flow, nutrient cycles and disruptive phenomena. This course includes a required laboratory component. May be taught concurrently with BIOL 4203. Prerequisite BIOL 1010, BIOL 1011, BIOL 1020, BIOL 1021.
