A consideration of the impact of descriptive and experimentally derived information on developmental events in various organisms with emphasis on the mechanics of orderly progression during life cycles. This course includes a required laboratory component. May be taught concurrently with BIOL 4103. Prerequisite BIOL 1020, BIOL 1021.
