Catalog description

Human disturbances associated with urbanization, energy development, climate change, poor land management, and pollution create the need to restore degraded ecosystems. This course aims to introduce students to concepts and applications in ecological restoration. We will develop critical thinking skills in the application of ecological principles to restoration. We will design a project proposal for a site in need of restoration on the AUM campus.
