Catalog description

Covers the curation crisis and its variations in museums, archives, and curation facilities. Theory, methods, and regulations of curation and collections management are explored. Also explores ethical considerations related to the right to possess, store, display, and control access to patrimonial items, along with the ethics of collection return and de-accessing. Students perform hands-on processing of real collections while undertaking practical curation projects and report-writing exercises.
