This course will explore the ways in which data provides the foundation for healthcare information systems. Topics include the concepts of information and knowledge, and the practice of medicine and health supported by mobile devices such as telepho nes, patient monitoring devices, digital assistants and other wireless devices. The practice of this course includes applications on lifestyle and well -being that connect people with medical devices or sensors, observation of medication reminder models and health information through messages and telemedicine services.
