CIT 107 Introduction to Computers Forensics (3 Credit Hours This course covers the fundamentals of computer forensics investigations, including laboratory setup and requirements, data acquisition, crime and incident processing, forensics tools utilization, analysis and validation, e-mail investigations, cell phone and mobile devices, report writing, and expert testimony. In addition, the course is designed to guide the student toward becoming a skilled computer forensics investigator and to prepare the student for the prerequisites towards the EnCase forensics certification exams and various other forensics certification exams.
