Catalog description

This course analyzes the reasons why cloud computing provides an attractive alternative to an on-site data center, and the technical and economic impacts of migrating to the cloud. You will also gain an appreciation of the challenges of managing vas t quantities of structured and unstructured big data, and how organizations are trying to leverage big data stores via analytics for strategic decision-making. CCIA 430 Customer Problem Resolution (3 Credit hours) This course provides an insight to the students on design guidance, configuration examples and best practices with respect to data center networking. This course also deals with current data center architectures, new technologies adopted to create modern d ata center architecture, and merits and demerits of the same. This course examines these new technologies and demonstrates how consolidation can be realized using a unified network approach.
