Catalog description

The course will focus in providing the essential tools in understanding the role of accounting information system and to implement the review systems of internal controls. The course will provide basic elements of the revenue cycle by enabling stude nts to become more proficient in understanding organization economic events and analyzing financial data. The process of accounting information systems will consist of the application of analytical tools and techniques to financial statements and data in o rder to derive from them measurements and relationships that are significant and useful for decision making. Students will explore the importance that exist between information technology and internal auditing. B
