Utilizing Avid Pro Tools, students will gain an introduction to post- production sound editing and design. The course covers an overview of the sound design process and tools, project organization, audio manipulation, basic processing and mixing techniques, finalizing a production, troubleshooting, and much more! Students will also have the opportunity to take the Avid certification exam at the 100 level to earn the credential of Avid Pro Tools Certified User, recognized worldwide as an industry standard for assistant sound editors in feature film and episodic television.
