Catalog description

This course presents a review of: (a) patterns of organization of law enforcement in society; (b) foundations, methods, types, and effects of law enforcement agencies at local , state and federal levels; and (c) the relationship between law enforcement and societal problems in ethnic siversity, community relations, and the police subculture. Prerequisite: Exit or exemption from Learning Support Reading.
