Principles of Chemistry II

Catalog description

Continuation of a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors. Topics to be covered include intermolecular forces, properties of solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, chemical thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. Laboratory exercises supplement the lecture material. This course has a laboratory component that requires the purchasing of a lab kit. The kit can be used for both CHEM 1211K and CHEM 1212K.
