Health Information Management Technology Internship

Catalog description

This course will allow students to perform advanced functions of a health information management department. Students will work in realistic work environments in either traditional, non-traditional, or lab settings. Activities will include the application of all HIMT coursework. Students will also learn professional skills to prepare them for employment in the HIM career field. A work ethic grade is assigned for this course. For more information see Work Ethics .
