Catalog description

This course emphasizes the knowledge and ability to analyze basic programming structures of programmable logic controller software including creating, editing, executing, and debugging PLC programs of moderate difficulty. Topics include PLC programming structure, I/O data tables, controller properties, I/O configuration, status files, timers, counters, state diagram programming, managing data, program control, sequencing, file transfers, computation environments. Laboratory work includes programming of PLC, troubleshooting, and using RSLogix software.
