Catalog description

This course introduces students to residential wiring practices and procedures. Topics include residential workplace safety, preparing and planning a residential wiring job, residential electrical system rough-in, and residential electrical system trim-out with an emphasis on switch control of lighting. The course also emphasizes National Electrical Code requirements for residential electrical installations. A work ethic grade is assigned for this course. For more information see Work Ethics .
