This course covers the history and philosophy of juvenile probation, adult probation, and parole. It includes a special emphasis on Georgia's probation and parole systems and related laws. Additional topics include the characteristics and roles of probation and parole officers and special issues and programs of probation and parole. Prerequisite: Program Admission. Corequisite: None.
