Catalog description

This course is the second in the MBA Project Management specialization and builds upon foundational project management principles. Students will apply advanced project planning and execution techniques using real-world methodologies aligned with PMI’s PMBOK 6 and 7 frameworks. The course follows a continuous case study centered on NexTech Innovations, where students serve as project managers leading the development of SmartSync, an AI-powered home assistant. Through strategic planning, project sequencing, risk assessment, and execution strategies, students will develop the necessary skills to manage complex projects from initiation to implementation. By the end of the course, students will have hands-on experience in defining project scope, engaging stakeholders, and implementing execution methodologies to ensure project success within scope, time, and cost constraints.
