Catalog description

This course is designed to give students a general overview of the role and extent of alcohol and drug use in our society. Areas to be discussed include an examination of societal attitudes, structures, and policies towards drug use, defining and understanding substance use disorder, and the impact on addiction on society. ADCT/SOC credit.
