Catalog description
This course will focus on theories and methods of psychotherapeutic treatment modalities in individuals, groups, and families. Students will analyze evidence-based practice and ethical decision making necessary in a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner role. Students will complete 100 hours of clinical under the supervision of qualified clinical preceptors and nursing faculty to achieve entry level clinical competency in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner role.
