Primary Care of Pediatrics

Catalog description

This seminar and practicum focuses on evidence-based approaches to care of children from birth through young adult including well-child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Students will apply knowledge learned in the classroom and in onsite laboratory experiences to a clinical setting with an appropriate provider of care for 60 hour clinical experience.
