Catalog description

This course assists learners to care for diverse populations with mental health alterations. Learners explore theories, concepts and clinical manifestations of mental illness with therapeutic interventions. Additional skills are introduced in the laboratory setting. Simulations are incorporated to enhance safe, quality nursing care in the clinical environment. Learners continue to assess and document their ongoing development and achievement of competencies.
