Pharmacology in Nursing

Catalog description

This course assists learners in acquiring a foundational understanding of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacogenetics. The learner will identify safe medication administration practices and indicators of medication effectiveness. The learner will utilize evidence-based information to identify educational priorities to promote health and prevent illness. Learners will continue to assess and document their ongoing development and achievement of competencies.
